Lucidity
Just after I got this box I was having this amazing dream and I woke up. “Oh, just a dream.”  I pushed my head back into the pillow and closed my eyes, determined to get it back. And I did. Not sure I’ve done that before. I dreamt I opened my eyes and sunlight danced through the trees and into my room. Actual waves were the soundtrack. It was cool, but not A/C cool. Ocean breeze cool. I could smell pineapple. Through the doors the terracotta patio led to the beach and then the blue green waves. Someone was stretched out under the covers beside me. I reached for the sheet but someone shakes my arm. My eyes open and sunlight dances across the room. “Pineapple?” you ask.
